Ghost Car

Jason Trotter,

2011

Ghost Car is one of six transportable murals by Jason Trotter located in the downtown core. This work was created by transferring a historical photographic image with a stencil onto perforated sheets of metal. James Lawrence Davis stands in front of a streetcar (circa 1915-1920). The streetcar system in Lethbridge existed from 1912 until 1947.

This artwork is the result of a joint effort between the owners of the site, Downtown Business Revitalization Zone and the City of Lethbridge’s Heart of Our City Revitalization Committee.
